Your bedroom is your sanctuary, a place to relax and get a really good night of sleep. And nothing better than wake up energized, and in love with what you see when you open your eyes in the morning. The following tips will help you to transform your bedroom into a cozy retreat.
1 – Choose the right colors
Create a calm backdrop with neutral wall colors so you will be able to play with sheets, throw pillows and blankets. Calming neutrals like white, grays, blues, and pale pink are good options to match with more colorful accessories such as rugs and curtains.
2 – Linens
The thought of curling up in a super fluffy bed make me want to go to sleep right know. For extra comfort, top your bed with a soft comforter and good linen.
3 – Headboards
Headboards can make a dramatic difference in your bedroom. Tufted headboards and soft tones create a calming space. In the other hand, an oversized headboard makes a big statement.
4- Seating Area
If you have enough space, consider adding a sole chair or an armchair so you can sit back, relax and enjoy a good book after a tough day.
5 – Lighting
Soft lighting helps to add a sense of warmth comfort. You can choose from a bedside lamp, a wall lamp or even a beautiful overhead fixture to create a calm and relax environment.
6 – Keep it Simple
Free your bedroom of clutter. Choose one or two pieces of art, some photos and accent pieces and use the same approach when choosing the furnishings. Less is more.

Personalize your bedroom with photos, art and objects that are meaningful to you.
To add a touch of comfort, consider placing a bench close to the bed. It’s an excellent piece of furniture to get an extra space or to take your shoes off after a long day.
