It is that time of the year again. Cold weather, family and friends coming over to celebrate the season and the whole house are filled with the sweet scent of gingerbread and cinnamon. And nothing says, “Holidays are coming” more than a whimsical decoration. That’s why we’ve selected five quick tips on how to prepare your home for the most wonderful time of the year.

1 – Modern Wreath: instead of the classic one, try a modern wreath. It could be made of metal, fabric or dried leaves. It doesn’t matter which one you will pick, just give a chance to something different.

2 – Stylish Ornaments: bring back those vintage ornaments forgotten in a box. Hang as a curtain or make a chandelier with them to have a completely new and modern look using something old, but precious.

3 – Stunning Centerpieces: put some fresh and colorful flowers such as red roses in metal vases and mix them with ornaments to create stunning centerpieces. Or if you want to make a statement, use peacock feathers instead of flowers and ornaments.

4 – Match Colors: use your décor’s color scheme to plan Christmas decorations. Match colors and accents to put together an elegant and well-balanced room.

5 – Create Vignettes: a small vignette with a silver tray, pinecones, and few branches or ornaments creates a delicate spot in the room.

Now it’s time to work on these ideas and bring the spirit of the season into our homes. Happy Holidays!
