Color is one of the fastest and easiest ways to transform your home, especially if you want to brighten up your space. And bold colors are a good tool to help you to create an entire new environment and energize an outdated room.

Bold doesn’t mean over the top décor. Actually, bold colors are a great way to show your own personal style. You can set the mood or inspire your guests, and yourself, just by splashing some color in any room.

So if you want to try something colorful but are too afraid to go for it, the following tips will guide you thru this beautiful world.

1 – Warming Up

Use red, oranges and yellows to warm up a room. Deep tones can make a room seem more inviting.

3 – Adding space

Vibrant colors can make a small space bigger. Just be careful and don’t go over the limit.

4 – Start small

You don’t have to paint an entire wall or buy a big red sofa for your living room. Choose an accent wall, or a small piece of furniture or a small space like the powder room to experiment with bold colors.

5 – The secret is to balance

Try to balance bold colors with neutral or calming tones. Limit bold colors to a few elements you really want to stand up and don’t be afraid to try them out.

Feeling confident? So let’s play with bold colors and create a whole new atmosphere for your home.
